Kath's Mindfulness Moments

Kath's Mindfulness Moments

Mindfulness is a developing dare I say "trend" in todays society. What does it really mean? To me, my mindfulness can look like several different things. In busy days, mindfulness can be as simple as sitting in the car, with all noise off, eyes closed, and 5 minutes of deep breathing. A reset. In my family we laugh about "finding the pause" the moment before we feel elevated in our energy and emotions.

Mindfulness is a better thing when partnered with oils. This is where my personal practice with meditation came about. I started to partner my favourite blends and oils- in a thoughtful, intentional breath. A little here and a little there adds up. The discipline now, of a daily practice, over time, brings calm, equanimity, peace, grounded energy and more calm.

The actual definition is the practice of being present in the moment, fully aware of your thoughts and feelings without judgment. It is a powerful tool for reducing stress, improving focus, and enhancing overall well-being. Essential oils can be a valuable aid in practicing mindfulness, helping to promote relaxation and focus.

My face oil for mindfulness moments is lavender. Lavender oil has a soothing and calming effect on the body and mind, making it a great choice for promoting relaxation and reducing stress. It can also help improve sleep quality, which is essential for maintaining a healthy mind and body.

Our ROLLER Bundle is a beginners guide to mindfulness. A few moments each day, mid day or at the beginning, a breath partnered in and I know you will feel the difference. Also- it is a time for you. Just you. Not the kids, not your work, not the traffic. Just for you. That in itself is AMAZING.

One resource I love to partner in with my breathing is this mediation by Elena Brower. Enjoy. And repeat. Always.
