Changemaker Recognition :: Katherine Evans in YVR Folio

I’m deeply honoured to be recognized as a Changemaker in the city.

This moment has given me space to reflect — not just on what I’ve built, but how I was shaped.

Entrepreneurship didn’t start with Tallu for me. It started much earlier, watching my dad, John Evans, model what hospitality really means: care, consistency, and showing up for people in ways that matter. From my mom, Susan Evans, I learned the quiet power of philanthropy — that impact isn’t always loud, but it is always intentional.

Starting and growing my own business has been one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life. Along the way, I’ve also been on a very personal journey to find my own spiritual path, inner peace, and sense of alignment — learning how to lead, create, and live from a place that feels true.

Tallu is a conduit of all of that.
It’s where values meet execution. Where care meets craft. Where business becomes a way to contribute, not just consume.

Being recognized as a changemaker isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about staying committed — to growth, to integrity, and to building something meaningful over time.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, challenged, and believed in this journey. I’m incredibly grateful — and just getting started.
